abril al 1 de mayo se realiz\u00f3 una campa\u00f1a oceanogr\u00e1fica frente a las costas de Oaxaca, en la que se instalaron instrumentos cient\u00edficos capaces de registrar movimientos s\u00edsmicos, deformaciones tect\u00f3nicas y cambios de presi\u00f3n en el oc\u00e9ano.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Esta informaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 comprender mejor los procesos tect\u00f3nicos que ocurren en la zona de subducci\u00f3n del Pac\u00edfico mexicano, donde la placa de Cocos se introduce por debajo de la placa de Norteam\u00e9rica.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e2a5b7d e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"e2a5b7d\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b872905 los cinco mil metros, fue posible gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n entre el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/cenapred\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centro Nacional de Prevenci\u00f3n de Desastres (CENAPRED)<\/a>, la Universidad de Kioto (UK), la Universidad de Tohoku (UT) y la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/semar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Secretar\u00eda de Marina<\/a>, que facilit\u00f3 el uso del buque oceanogr\u00e1fico \u201cMazunte\u201d para realizar la operaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div realizada en su totalidad por personal t\u00e9cnico de la UNAM y CENAPRED<\/strong>, destacando su alta preparaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Uno de los principales objetivos cient\u00edficos de esta campa\u00f1a es estudiar los <em><span style=\"color: #cb3688;\"><strong>\u201csismos lentos\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/em>, fen\u00f3menos tect\u00f3nicos que ocurren en la interfaz entre placas y que est\u00e1n relacionados con la generaci\u00f3n de grandes terremotos.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d2fee6d e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" subducci\u00f3n, tsunamis y observaciones del fondo marino, destac\u00f3 la relevancia de este tipo de estudios:<span style=\"color: #cb3688;\"><em> \u201cEn el fondo marino est\u00e1n pasando m\u00e1s cosas de las que alcanz\u00e1bamos a ver desde tierra.
